Regarding what you said about magic possibly becoming more risky to use, I thought that was interesting. It seems like many/most openly practicing people tend to live in more culturally tolerant places, such as left-leaning cities, places that also tend to be more atheist. So, people aren’t really afraid of things they don’t believe are real. In highly religious places, however, people may believe that it’s real, or at least that spiritual consequences are real. If the world becomes more attuned to the numinous, I wonder if that also raises the stakes for everyone. (It wouldn’t even have to be that people are more religious; they could also just be part of sociopolitical groups with a similar structure).
The spiritual consequences is huge to me…it keeps me locked into if this is right or wrong. Almost helping me to stay a student and never a practitioner so to speak
When I watched your you tube video on your sigil method it felt like everything clicked into place and sort of familiar. Like I’d done this before but honestly never heard of it. Now it’s everywhere.
