Just discovered your blog after finding your interview with Julian Katari. Thought I'll just drop a note to say that after some major research on the Yuga cycles I discovered that there are several versions of the Yugas that are believed to be the correct by different people, but the most accurate version (according to my research) is the version re-introduced to the world by Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri in his book Holy Science which goes back to the Laws of Manu - and it fits into the Precession of Equinoxes cycle.
Importantly the Maya Five worlds cycle (a total of 5 Great Cycles) also fits into the Precession of Equinoxes Cycle, which is a Master Cycle. For an illustration of this see the "Outer Cycle" in this diagram:
According to this version of the Yugas, the Kali Yuga age ended in 1698AD already. It gets really interesting though when one delves into the Yuga (and Maya) cycles in more detail.
The Yuga Cycle/s, just like the Maya Cycle/s consist of fractals - this means one can get a very exact positioning of where we are on the timelines right now (in both cycles) see details here:
In 2020 we entered the last 80 years of the Kali Suyuga segment of the main Dwapara Yuga which started in 1900AD, so we are gradually leaving the materialistic influences of the Kali segment of the Dwapara Yuga behind, which is causing a lot of turmoil right now. At the same time we are in one of the most polarised segments of the Maya Cycle right now (details in link below).

Interesting! So you’re dividing the 2000 years of the Dwapara Yuga into four phases that relate to the four yugas? Is this outlined anywhere in texts or is this something you’ve intuited?
I did not intuit it, I was (at the time) still discerning the differences between the different versions of the Yugas to determine which would be the most accurate and most relevant to our times.
I discovered this further segmentation during my extended research as I was looking into the concept of fractals. The Maya cycles have this phenomenon too so I was looking for a comparative system.
My main source for this information was this article by Dr David Frawley of the American Institute of Vedic Studies:
Excerpt: "These additional subperiods can explain historical changes over centuries that the Yuga model of thousands of years can miss.They also tell us why, though we are no longer in the Kali Yuga, that we are still in a difficult time that is likely to continue for some decades."
